The Lions were off to a good start, finishing the first quarter with a 10 yard TD and a 6-0 lead. Immediately at the start of the second quarter, Walkersville attacked again and scored.

Kicking in the second quarter, Junior Bennett Formulak scored the first points for the Lancers on a 37-yard field goal. The halftime score was 20-3, Walkersville.

In the second half of the game, Walkersville was not to be stopped. They scored play after play and widened the lead gap until there was no hope of a comeback.
