LHSsees2020: Lauren Thompson and Gina DeFrancisci room in the belly of the tiger
Seniors Lauren Thompson and Gina DeFrancisci plan to room together at Towson University.
Thompson said, “I chose Towson because it is close to home, but here is still some distance, and I was really intrigued by their family science program.”
Thompson will be majoring in family science and sociology because she wants to help those who don’t know how to help themselves.
Thompson will miss theater because it has “allowed me to come out of my shell. Freshman year I was really shy and quiet. Now I am student director and like 90 people are saying ‘hi’ to me in the hallway.”
DeFrancisci said, “My mom went there, and we have visited a lot because she is teaching there now, and I really like the campus. When I was visiting colleges, it was the only college I could really see myself attending.”
DeFrancisci is looking forward to the freedom of being able to explore new things, figuring out what she wants to do with her life because she is not sure of her future career.
Both the girls are looking forward to rooming together.
