LHSsees2020: Kylan Connolly designs his future at Pratt Institute
Kylan Connolly plans to attend the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and will major in architecture.
“I took a class and really liked it. And I realized I was good at it,” said Connolly.
Pratt Institute has an 18 acre wooded area in the middle of the city, filled with Connolly’s favorite tree, the sycamore, “It’s the best tree there is.”
“I’m nervous to adapt to the pace of Brooklyn. I’m not worried about be far from home, though,” he said.
Connolly also looks forward to all of the amazing opportunities the Big Apple brings but will miss the Linganore community. “Some colleges don’t offer everything,” he said. “It’s also free in high school.”
Connolly is currently an avid member of the drama and music department. “I’d like to join an acapella or choral group.”
