Senior Brian Peterson will be moving to Pennsylvania in the fall to attend Juniata College.

Juniata College’s mission is to provide an engaging personal experience to empower their students to develop the “skills, knowledge, and values that lead to a fulfilling life of service in the global community.”

Following Juniata’s mission, Peterson hopes to pursue a career in the intelligence field. “I plan to major in Spanish and Peace and Conflicts studies. I want to protect our nation from terrorist attacks.”

“I chose Juniata because it is outdoors, up in the mountains, and everybody there is very nice,” said Peterson. “I think that they have a lot of good study abroad programs and a lot of opportunities to go to different countries and learn more about them. I think that because it is a small school, you have more one-on-one time with the professors.”

Peterson hopes to participate in the running club at Juniata after being a member of the cross country team for all four years of high school. He also hopes to participate in the outdoor club and in the different activities they offer such as hiking, backpacking, and camping.

“I’m going to miss the fact that I know a lot of good students here. I think I’m going to know one person going into college, so I am going to have to make friends all over again,” said Peterson.
