“I know a good dance move when I see one,” said contestant Jake Butehorn.

That’s why Butehorn chose Tony Manero (John Travolta) from the classic movie, Saturday Night Fever, as his trendsetter. He cracked the audience up with his hip thrusts and shakes in his all white tuxedo.

“My escort was a huge help,” said Butehorn graciously. “I couldn’t have done it without Rachel [Huston.]”

That wasn’t the only help Butehorn received. For his talent act, Butehorn was joined by two other contestants, Matt Watson and Zack Yurich. The three boys performed a “synchronized swimming” act, in which the boys pretended to dive into water (a blue tarp) with grace and majesty.

“I actually loved the way it felt to be in the spotlight. I would encourage anyone interested in Mr. Linganore to be a part of it,” said Butehorn.
