Varsity indoor track races full speed ahead at invitational: Photo of the Day 12/13/15

On December 12th, the Boys and Girls Varsity Indoor Track Teams competed in the Howard County Invitational at the Prince George’s Sports Complex.
Sophomore Lars Eklund, member of the boys team, placed first in the high jump with a height of 6’3″. Eklund beat the second place finalist by seven inches and beat his personal best by over three inches
Freshman Morgan Mathews, member of the girls team, said, “[All of the track teams]…did great, but the boys were exceptional! With so many schools competing, it’s hard to even place. [Indoor] Track is an overall amazing experience!”
Unfortunately, neither team placed in the overall standings.
The next meet is on December 16th at Hagerstown Community College. Come out to support our Lancers!
