Lancers suffered a tough loss 58-43 against Westlake High School played at University of Maryland. To celebrate and cheer them on many Lancers today wore red and joined in in a cheer for the team in the hallway.

It was impossible to walk through the halls without seeing a sea of fans dressed in red. Over half of the student body participated and definitely painted the halls with their bright outfits.

The team lost  to Westlake in the Semi-finals of the MD 3/A Boys State Championship, but the score was close, with Lancers opening 7 – 0 and maintaining a slight lead at the end of the third 33-31.

The Fredrick News Post reviewed the game and highlighted that Lang and Jack Staub scored seventeen of the Lancer’s twenty one points in the first half.
