After the 10-day break for the holidays, students returned with mixed emotions, some eager to see friends and others slightly annoyed to be back in the building.

Sophomore Emily McNally said, “I’m glad to see my friends, but I hate school.”

This quick and infamous quote resonates within most as they approach the last three weeks of the semester.

Sophomore, Nazareth Guerrero said, “It’s a bittersweet feeling coming back, but the way that I like to think about it is that the school year will be over sooner than we think.”

We can all agree that having to wake up early and do work again after a week of no school can be difficult.
