Jack Watsic signs his National Letter of Intent to St. Mary’s.

Jack Watsic is a two-sport varsity athlete and has signed to play both soccer and lacrosse at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Jack is a stand-out student athlete, both in the classroom and on the field. Watsic, for soccer, led the county in a assists, and for lacrosse, had the most goals in the postseason: 33 in just four games.

Jack has been playing lacrosse for 10 years and has been playing soccer for 14 years.

“I decided to attend St. Mary’s because this was the only school that I could play both lacrosse and soccer. I had one D1 offer to play soccer, and I had nine others for lacrosse from schools like Penn State University, Rutgers University, and Stony Brook University, ” said Watsic.

Jack is ecstatic to play at the collegiate level. “Club lacrosse has really prepared me competition and skills wise because they have a higher competition level than high school sports, so I’ll be ready to play when I get to St. Mary’s,” said Jack.

While in school, Jack plans to major in Economics and minor in English.

After Jack graduates, he wants to work in finance in D.C. or Annapolis.
