Class of 2018 Bright Futures: Jordan Cencula dives into Salisbury University

Jordan Cencula decided to attend Salisbury University because she loves the educational program at the university and loves its location.

Cencula plans to major in secondary education history and minor in earth science.

“I want to become a high school history teacher and help students find their passions in life,” said Cencula.

Cencula knows that balancing both academics and sports difficult to maintain, but she plans to stay ahead by prioritizing her time efficiently.

“While at Salisbury I will be a part of Salisbury’s swim team, but I also want to make time in order to participate in Greek life on campus,” said Cencula.

Cencula would like to thank her family and friends for all of their help throughout the years and for shaping her into the person that she is today.

“Some of my favorite memories from Linganore was hanging out with my friends, participating in musicals, and being on the swim team,” said Cencula.  Cencula is participating this week in the musical, Footloose.

Jordan looks forward to meeting new people while at Salisbury and will try to brighten the days of others by being kind to everyone.
