Class of 2018, do you want a chance to see Taylor Swift in concert?
You’re in luck!
Lancer Media has two Taylor Swift concert tickets up for grabs. All seniors have to do is pose for a Lancer Media Destination photo.
To Enter:
Class of 2018: Lancer Media wants to know what your next “step” is. Is your destination high education? A career? Entering the armed forces?
Post alone or with friends who share similar plans. We will edit the photo to reveal your post-graduation plan.
Put on your hat, t-shirt or other gear and come to room C203 Periods 1, 2, or 3 to take the photo. Each person in the photo will be entered in the contest.
The picture will be posted on the window of the Student Services on Main Street between April 13 and May 13. The winner of the tickets will be announced on social media on May 17 (Senior Picnic).
Here’s what to do:
Be ready to answer the 15 questions below for an brief interview in room C203:
- What made you choose ____ college/university as your destination after graduation?
- Will you travel during the summer before going to your school?
- What bright plans do you have for your future?
- What do you plan to major in while at ____?
- What do you look forward to while attending ____?
- What obstacles do you plan to encounter that’ll dim your future?
- How will you shine bright and overcome tough obstacles in college?
- What do you think you are the best at right now? Who has helped you get to this point in life? What do you want to be the best at later in life?
- What teacher has been your source of light from your time at Linganore?
- What extracurricular activities do you plan to participate while at college? What led you to this choice?
- What has prepared you for your future plans? Who would you like to thank?
- What’s something that you have been waiting to do after high school? What are some of your brightest memories at LHS?
- What obstacles have you had to deal with while here at Linganore, did you face them alone? Do you have any advice for underclassmen on how to shine bright?
- Who are you looking forward to meeting in the future?
- How will you brighten other’s futures while at college? If you can?
Your donation will support the student journalists of Linganore High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase camera/recording equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs. We hope to raise enough money to re-start a monthly printed issue of our paper.
