Check out the Greek Fall Festival at St. Peter and Paul Church September sixth through the eleventh. This Festival celebrates Greek customs, food, and culture. Come and experience authentic Greek cuisine, live music, and traditional dance performances by the Dance Troupe.

Go vote for the Poll of the Week on the journalism twitter page, at LHS journalism. The topic this week is Favorite Local NFL Football Team. We will see who wins by Friday.

Underclassmen yearbook pictures are September 20th and 21st. If you are interested in purchasing school portraits, make sure to bring your picture form. Senior makeup pictures are being held on September 26th and 27th. Bring your best smile!

If you bought a 2018 yearbook, please stop by during your lunch outside the cafeteria and pick up your spring supplement. Or, stop by room A206 after the 12th to pick your up.

Senior picture makeup day is Sept 26 and 27.  Appointments will be sent directly from Victor O’Neill Studios and will occur between 2:15-8:30 PM. Please see Mrs. Cline in the front office for your time or call VOS directly, 800-320-2894 with questions. You must have VOS take your picture to be included in the yearbook. Yearbook poses must be selected by Oct 31.

The Women in Science & Engineering program first meeting is September 26, 2018. WISE is a program developed to encourage females to participate as they have as a group been identified as underrepresented in the fields of science and engineering; however, all students, male and female are welcome to participate. No registration is necessary. Meetings feature a female STEM professional as a speaker, a science themed ice breaker and a science themed hands-on activity. All those interested are invited to visit the ESSL on meeting days. See the link below for more information.

If you’re a student driver, don’t forget to purchase a 2018-2019 student parking permit.  Permit applications are available in the front office or on the LHS website. The cost is $20. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Cline in the front office.

Its that time of the year! Auditions for the fall play, Almost Maine, are being held this Thursday 2:30-8 in room D101. Be sure to have a short monologue prepared for your audition. Break a leg, Lancers!
