Attention Seniors: Friday, October 12  is the deadline to submit baby ads to be included in the 2019 yearbook. Extra order forms are available outside room A206. Also, the yearbook committee is looking for pictures from spirit week and Homecoming.

If the military interests you as a career choice, then you will want to meet with Sargent Hanson, the Recruiter for the Marines. Sargent Hanson will be at Linganore on Thursday, October 18th to discuss the ROTC program.  See Ms. Failor in Student Services to sign up for this great opportunity.

Attention Drama Club members: all completed Yankee candle fundraising packets are due back to Mrs. Smithhisler no later than tomorrow, October 12th. Bring all materials back sooner rather than later

Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded of the community service opportunity this Saturday, October 13  from 9-12 noon at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary. Students are encouraged to bring a standard trash can to place the invasive plants in.  Trash bags will not be used this year. See Mr.Sunkel with any questions.

On this day of Hispanic heritage month, we are recognizing Sandra Cisneros, the author of “The House on Mango Street,” which is referred to many as a classic in American Literature.

Juniors and Seniors, College Representatives from the University of Maryland, McDaniel College, Messiah College Monday, and Bridgewater College are coming to Linganore over the next two weeks. Sign up on Naviance or stop by Students Services for more information.
