Are you a junior with a strong interest in science? The United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick is now accepting applicants for their research internships.They begin this summer for weighted credit. These internships last for a full year, so you would attend school for a half day your senior year.  See Mr. Radil-Harris or Mr. Brown for details.

The Boys Lacrosse preseason meeting is this Wednesday in the media center from 2:35pm to 3:05pm. Be sure to attend to get as much information as possible for the upcoming season.

Linganore Swimming and Diving kicks off its season with two meets this week. Today they take on Urbana at Middletown. On Thursday December 13th they have their home opener against Tuscarora at Walkersville High. Both meets begin at 6:00pm, come out and support our Lancer swimmers and divers.

Tonight the boys JV and varsity basketball teams will be playing Frederick high. The boys will be playing at Frederick, JV at 5;30 and varsity at 7.

The girls JV and varsity teams will also be playing tonight against Frederick high. The girls team will be at home, JV at 5;30 and varsity at 7. Good luck to all of our basketball players!

Normally dark streets of German cities are lit up every year with lights and decorations for the opening of Christmas markets. Here, they’re free to celebrate the spirit of the season and shop in preparation for the upcoming holiday.
