Poll: Women’s History Month- There is no clear “most inspirational” woman!

March is Women’s History Month! In honor of this celebration of women, Lancer Media wanted to know what extraordinary women most inspire you.

Your choices last week were Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Kate Middleton, Lady Gaga, J.K. Rowling, Hillary Clinton, Jennifer Lawrence, Malala Yousafzai, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Marilyn Monroe, and “Other”.

The most picked choice was “Other”, with 23% of the votes. “Other” answers included Rosa Parks, Audrey Hepburn, Ellen DeGeneres, and Anita Sarkeesian. Four people who responded said that their mother was the most influential woman in their life.

J.K. Rowling received 18% of the votes, Jennifer Lawrence had 14%, and Oprah Winfrey had 10%. Malala Yousafzai had 7% of votes, Michelle Obama received 6%, and Marilyn Monroe, Hillary Clinton and Lady Gaga tied with 5%. Kate Middleton and Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis got 3% of the votes.
