He is a Frederick County all- time leader in rushing , Frederick County’s all- time leader in touchdown scores, and is the third running back in Maryland public school history to rush for 6,000 yards.

This past season, Arneson rushed for 2,389 yards and scored  36 touchdowns. He carried the ball 288 times, and a total of 858 times throughout his entire career at LHS.

Arneson was also the first all- area Frederick News Post selection at LHS. He is going to be the first team 3A all state selection in 2024.

Arneson is excited to continue playing football in college and is looking forward to new experiences. He is planning on majoring in business management.

“I just really believe in the program, and the coaching staff and the guys that are needed to build up the program, and I think they’re gonna be a successful team in the next couple of years,” said Arneson.

For the past three years, Arneson has played on the varsity football team at LHS. Arneson was also a member of the varsity football team.

Julie Arneson, Arneson’s mother, excited for Ethan to experience college life  said, “I’m very excited for him, it’s gonna be different not having him at home. But, I just know how successful he’s gonna be and how hard he works.”

His mother explained that she is so excited to see him move onto bigger things. She has always been one of Arneson’s biggest supporters.

“I’m very excited he’s gonna play. I have loved watching him play since he was in third grade, and I’m just so excited for his next adventure.” said Juila Arneson, his mother.
