On September 14 2022, Linganore’s varsity golf had their third match of the season against South Hagerstown. The game was held at PB Dye golf club and started at 4:00 pm.

The Linganore team were confident prior to the match, although they acknowledged that South Hagerstown gave them a tough match last time.

“I would say it’s probably going to be close, South Hagerstown is a good team. It was very close last year,” said player Todd Johnson.

During the match against South Hagerstown, player Gary Agnello led his team to victory with a total number of 44 strokes. The team had their best win of the season so far with a score of 191-183 and a win by 8 strokes.

The team is now looking forward to facing more of their new competitors and continuing to improve.

“Meeting this new group, seeing how we do up against them with the new coaches and seeing our differences I feel is important,” said player Kendall Bazemore.

They are now focusing on their next match against Catoctin on September 21.Make sure to follow Linganore Golf for all golf updates and upcoming matches.
