**Hey Lancers! Did you remember that it’s Teacher Appreciation Week? Have you shown our teachers just how much we value & appreciate them? Throughout the week during all lunch shifts, a table has been set up in the cafeteria for you to  stop by & write appreciation notes to your teachers. So if you haven’t done so  yet, stop by the table & show our teachers your Lancer Love!

**NEHS in the news: Congratulations senior Emily Watson. Her NEHS Common  Reader essay won a $2,000 scholarship. Prize money will be applied to her  tuition at West Virginia University where she intends to study forensic chemistry.  The Common Reader essay contest is a competitive national contest, requiring a  student to read the assigned novel and craft an essay. We are so proud of Emily’s  accomplishments!
