**Attention Linganore Students: Today is the final day that voting is open for  student member of the board of education. Links are available through QR code on the numerous posters throughout the building, can be shared with you by your  teachers, or can be found on our FCPS website. Get out and rock the vote!  

**Registration for next school year is now open. Hardcopy and Google Form are  due tmorrow. Google form is located in your class Schoology group. 

**Attention anyone interested in trying out for softball this spring! There will be  an informational meeting in the auxiliary gym tomorrow, Friday 1/28 during PREP.  If you can’t attend the meeting please see Coach Poff with any questions. 

**Any boy interested in playing for the Boys Varsity Tennis team needs to sign up  in Mr. Sunkel’s Room A139. An informational meeting will be held on Monday,  January 31st during PREP. 

**All athletes that intend to play their sport at the college level and want to  participate in signing day on Feb. 2nd need to see Mrs. Easterday to sign up.  There will be a meeting tomorrow during PREP in B206. 

**Congratulations to the Linganore mock trial team which is 3-0 this season &  currently #1 in the county!!!!! Last week they won a match against Walkersville.  Casey Landahl was the star lawyer and Abbey Landahl was the star witness. Last  night they won another match against Frederick High. Abbey Landahl was the  star lawyer and Taylor Gepes Carroll was the star witness. Great job mock trial  team! 

**Come out to celebrate Andrew Young’s birthday tonight as the boys basketball  team hosts Catoctin. The JV game begins at 5:30 followed by Varsity at 7:00.

**Attention ALL previous fall semester ceramic classes: please come pick up  any work that may still be around, or make arrangements with Ms. Shinozaki or Mr. Madenspacher to finish the glazing during PREP or after school as soon as  possible. ALL WORK will be discarded in about 2 weeks to make room for the  new semester work! 

****REMINDER: students should be reporting directly to their assigned PREP  class each day. Your PREP teacher will advise if you have been requested  somewhere. Announcements will continue to be at the end of PREP, just as they are now.
