**Linganore Swim and Dive will be having a pre-season meeting for athletes and  parents tonight, @ 7:30 pm in the cafeteria. Also, if anyone is interesting in DIVING for Linganore please contact Coach Hawkins ASAP (room A221) or email  him at j[email protected] 

**JV and Varsity boys basketball tryouts will take place on Monday, Nov.  15th, Tuesday, Nov. 16th, and Wednesday, Nov. 17th from 5-7 PM. In order to  participate, you must be registered on the FCPS athletics website, and have an  updated physical exam. Contact Coach Abercrombie with any questions. 

**Indoor boys track meeting will be this Wednesday, Nov. 10th in Coach Eckard’s  room, A136 starting at 2:20, ending by 2:45. Practice begins next Monday, Nov.  15th. 

**Are you a fan of trivia games? The LHS Academic Team competes against  students from other schools in a team trivia tournament & they are looking for  new members. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 2:30 to  4:00 pm in Mr. Hahn’s room, C102. All interested students are welcome. You do  not have to commit to joining the team right away, just come to some practices  and see if you like it. Hope to see you there! 

**The Linganore High School Winterguard is seeking new members! An  informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 9 at 6:00 pm in the LHS  Chorus Room, D113. All are welcome. The meeting will be followed by a rehearsal  from 7:00-9:00 pm. Students may attend rehearsals to try out the activity over the  next two weeks with no obligation.
