On September 18, approximately at 8 a.m. the first group of underclassmen walked down to the auditorium grouped by 9th grade students whose last names begins with the letters A-B to get their picture taken for the 2019-2020 yearbook scheduled to be distributed in the spring.

Student picture were taken by Victor O´Neil Studios  a company that specialties in school pictures.

“Picture day is very stressful for me because you have to make sure you look good throughout the whole day or at least until you get your picture taken. You also need to make sure your make-up doesn’t get all messed up before your picture gets taken,” said sophomore Kelli Durbin.

Some students really enjoy picture day while others find it an inconvenience.

Aiden Bruce said, “I don’t really like picture day because I always look so bad in my pictures, even if I get a retake.”

Students walked into the auditorium and got their slips before they had to sit down on a stool and wait until the photographer counts down they have two bright lights shining on their face.

There was a total of four booths where they could get your picture taken, but they all had the exact same background to be sure all the picture look the exactly same.

“Everyone should be able to choose their own background because it will be able to show what that student´s favorite color is and add some personality to that student´s picture,” said Durbin.

Students then had to wait a few minutes for their school ID cards to be printed out before heading back to class.

Throughout the rest of the day students were called down to get pictures taken and took students out of class for about 15 minutes.

The day ended with 10th grade students with last name starting with the letters G-J.

Anyone who was not called down to get their picture taken including all teachers will be called down on September 19, through the day starting again at 8 a.m and ending around 1:30 p.m.
