Lancer Girls won 119-57 in their most recent swim meet against Frederick, while the boys fell 37-132. Great job to all the Lancer swimmers and divers, with special recognition to Megan Brobst, Lyra Garrett, Taylor Koch, and Rachel McCoy and Jessica Buntman, with a win in diving.
The Academic Team season officially starts tonight with their first county match, and everyone is invited to come out to Frederick High School to support the team. Admission is free. They will be competing against Oakdale and Middletown in the third match and should start around 7 pm. The announced category round this week will include 10 questions on the National Football League.

Mock trial will kick off our season on Tuesday. The case involves online bullying and harassment as well as assault. They would love to see you at a competition – all competitions start at 5pm at the Frederick County Courthouse.
