Tommy Moyer chose to attend Loyola University Maryland because he loves the class size of 4,000 students. For Moyer the class size isn’t too large, but isn’t too small, and the school has a great liberal arts curriculum.
“In the future I would like to work in a science-related business or company,” said Moyer.
Moyer plans to major in chemistry/business while at Loyola.
“I’m looking forward to seeing my cousin there at Loyola since she already attends the school, but I’m really looking forward to living away from home and living within walking distance of my classmates,” said Moyer.
Moyer plans to participate in the student government association and in intramural sports. Moyer participated in SGA and Basketball at Linganore and wants to continue at Loyola.
“An obstacle that I went through during high school was actually being the first of my siblings to go to high school. My advice to underclassmen would be to get involved in as much as you can because it can help you in the long run,” said Moyer.
