Class of 2018 Bright Futures: Hailey Dieck reaches for the mountain top at WVU
Senior Destinations 2018
Hailey Dieck chose to attend West Virginia University because she loves the school itself as well as its distance to home. It’s far enough away for her to have the college experience, but close enough to get home.
Dieck is undecided on what she wants to major in while at WVU, but she is entering the Hearts of Gold program where she will work to train service dogs.
“I’m really looking forward to attending football games, rushing a sorority, and joining several clubs while at West Virginia University,” said Dieck.
Dieck plans to overcome obstacles in college by managing her time between school work and extracurricular activities by studying as much as she can and working with other students in study groups.
“I would like to thank my family for encouraging me that I can do anything I set my mind to,” said Dieck.
Dieck will brighten other students’ days by being nice to everyone and sending out a positive vibe to those around her.
