Annual NHS Talent Show contestants perform to fight against cancer: Photo of the Day 5/4/18

On May 4th, the National Honor Society (NHS) hosted their annual talent show in the auditorium. The show was compiled of talent acts, being headlined by 2018 Mr. Linganore winner Josh Watson and his band with their original performance of “1 fish 2 fish, red fish blue fish.”

The show was hosted by senior presenters Kelsey Ward and Joel Tate.

Winners:

1st: Josh Watson, David Wallace, Matt Carney: Jazz band performance.

2nd: Kayla Befano & Presley Dougherty: Vocal and guitar performance, “Build me up, Buttercup” by The Foundations.

All performers:

Alyssa Chiarelli: Vocal performance to “When he sees me” from the musical Footloose.

Lily Tate: Violin performance.

David Kominars: Vocal performance to “L.O.V.E.” by Michael Buble.

JT Lizmi: Piano performance: Prelude in C Major & Mozart K 545.

Payton Hull: Color guard performance.

Samantha Buntman, Jordan Cencula, Kali Nanavaty: Choir vocal performance to “Long time traveler.”

Samantha Buntman, Jasmine Dickson, Kyla Dungan, Cassidee Grunwald, Kalie Nanavaty, and Alex Jones: Cell block Tango from the musical Chicago.

“I enjoyed watching Payton Hull’s interpretive dance performance because I thought that it was really unique and fun to watch,” said Sophia Posada.

“It was really cool being able to see all the talented people in our school perform their work, that they put so much time and effort into. It was a great cause because all of the proceeds went to Lily’s Hope,” said Grace Pritchett.
