The 18th Annual Mr. Linganore contest “It’s a Royal Affair” will be on March 4 at 7:00 p.m. Lancer Media is covering each of the contestants leading up to the big day.

One of the 12 contestants for the crown, Tyson Tregoning is going to be portraying Lord Farquaad from Dreamworks Animations movie Shrek. He will be escorted by Ally Graziano.

Tregoning’s favorite part of the competition so far has been having fun with the other Mr. Linganore contestants. He is excited for everyone’s talent.

Tregoning has been preparing for the competition through multiple practices. “I’ve had multiple talent and waltz practices to be prepared.”

Tregoning is a member of the National Honor Society and the treasurer for Class of 2017. He is also a plays three sports: football, basketball, and baseball. He plays free safety for football, forward for basketball, and center-field for baseball. During the 2016 football season, Tregoning had an interception that lead to a touchdown.

Tregoning is planning on going to University of Maryland College Park and studying business and finance.
