The moment we’ve all been waiting for – Thursday evening, November 16, is the opening night of the much-awaited fall play, The Giver.

This play is an adaptation of the popular novel (and 2014 movie), so many students know the story.  It stars senior Joey Galletti as Jonas and Christian Howard as The Giver.

On November 15 during school, students from were able to get a first glimpse of the play. The cast put on a show during the school day for their final dress rehearsal.

Sophomore Jacob Blue, who plays Asher, said, “We treated this showing as a pre-performance or a test run. We took it seriously.”

“Everyone worked really hard, it’s come together really well. We’ve had some rough patches, but, overall, the show is amazing and I really think everyone will love it,” said run crew member Greyston Harding.  

The play is running from Thursday to Sunday. You can get your tickets at the door for $10.00 or you can buy them online for $8.00.

Saturday, November 18 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.
