Candidates have been raising awareness for their campaigns by hanging posters around the school. Candidates have also taken to social media in the hopes of gaining votes from their peers.

Member of the Class of 2018, Shannon Loughrey, is running for Vice President of her class. She feels her campaign has gone well. She hopes to win her position but is sure her opponent, Marie Tapscott, will also be able to get the job done.

Loughrey has always been confident in the capabilities of the SGA.

I feel that SGA officers most definitely have the power to initiate change in our school. We are able to work with the teachers to help make the school a better and more inclusive place for everyone. But anyone, whether in SGA or not, can help make a big difference at our school.” said Loughrey.
