Seniors enjoy breakfast before graduation practice: Photo of the Day 5/26/17

On May 26th, the class of 2017 came back to school to enjoy a strawberry breakfast served by the Alumni Association and to practice for graduation. They started breakfast at 7:00 am.
Lexi Watson said, “The strawberries and chocolate chips were great!”
Caroline Ward said, “The breakfast was delicious.”
Special thanks to Karen White, Curtis Lawson, Sue Ensor, Debbie Ridgley, Skip Isaacs, Nick Wood, Barbara Ferguson, and Kaye Horr for serving the breakfast. The Alumni Association has been doing this before graduation practice since 1993, and it’s the biggest turnout they’ve had so far.
At 7:50 am, the class of 2017 moved to the gym to practice walking to the stage when their names were called to receive their “diplomas.” They also practiced entering and exiting and received their caps and gowns.
At 10:15 am, they had changed into gowns and lined up by height to take their class photo. The ice cream social at the end of practice was sponsored by Jimmie Cone.
Senior Salute will be on Tuesday, May 31. The graduation ceremony is at Knott Arena on June 1.
