JV football team wins against Middletown Knights

On October 18th, the junior varsity football team went against the Middletown Knights at home.

It was a standstill game, until Brady Domroe had a short run for a touchdown, but missed the extra point at the end of the first quarter. The score was 6-0, and Middletown scored on a short run during the second quarter making it 6-6. Towards the end of first half, Middletown scored on a long pass making the score 12-6 at halftime.

At the end of the third quarter, Brady Domroe scored on a long run, and Ethan Thompson kicked the extra point which made the score 13-12. The team’s defense stopped Middletown multiple times, and towards the end of the game, Brady Domroe had an interception causing the Lancers to win the game!

Class of 2020 member, Harry Heitzig said “ We all work as a team. We know that we can count on each other to do our jobs and come away with a win”.
