Brandon Cooper will be off to West Virginia University next year.

Brandon Cooper will becoming a Mountaineer at West Virginia University next year. Cooper will be majoring in marketing and interior design. He hopes to study abroad during his time at the university.

Cooper chose the school because he and his family have always been lifelong fans, and it is his uncle’s alma mater.  “I have grown up knowing that WVU was always where I belonged, so it was an easy decision,” said Cooper.

During his time at WVU, Cooper hopes to venture the beautiful mountains of West Virginia and have the opportunity to explore other countries. He is also excited for the opportunity to be more independent and try new responsibilities.

Throughout Cooper’s high school career, he has had family and friends to help him get to the point where he is now. “I would like to thank my parents and loved ones who have been extremely supportive and encouraging throughout my life and these four years of school,” said Cooper.

While he knows that college will be harder than high school, he has a positive outlook on the situation. “I’m sure that I will encounter hard times, but I hope that they will only propel me to success,” said Cooper.
