Interested in learning about drama? Aspiring to be the next hit Hollywood actor? Everybody must start somewhere, so why not sign up for a theatre class next year? Classes are fun, have a variety of hands-on activities, and involve lots of games. See Mrs. Smithhisler in room D101 with any questions.

Calling all aspiring dancers: Taking a dance class has proven to relieve stress, lower high blood pressure, increase flexibility and coordination, and improve self-confidence. Go ahead and sign up for a dance class next year with Mrs. Smithhisler. The classes promise to be fun and energizing!

Attentions juniors and sophomores:  If you are interested in taking part in an internship, apprenticeship, service learning, or work study for next year, and have questions, see Mr. Brown or Ms. Radil-Harris during lunch today or tomorrow.  Work study is offered only to current juniors.  You do not need to have a work site or placement at this time in order to include the course on your registration.

A reminder to all advanced placement students:  Your exam registrations are due to Mrs. Smith in the AP Office by next Friday, February 17th.

Did you know that the 60% of Maryland college graduates owe an average of $27,000 in student loans?  One way to decrease college costs and earn college credit is to take Advanced Placement courses.  Linganore High School offers AP courses in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Physics.  Consider taking an AP science course next year!

Students are reminded that registration for next year must be completed by 10:00 pm on Friday, February 10th.  Make sure you can log onto Naviance today. See the school counselor at your lunch shift with questions.

Attention seniors:  This Friday, February 10th, a representative from The Temple: Paul Mitchell School for Cosmetology will be here to meet students.  You can sign up through Naviance.

Attention new inductees to Rho Kappa:  Mr. Burch has shared a Google doc with you!  Rho Kappa would like you to share biographical information about yourself, like your favorite quotes, future plans and favorite social studies class.  Please check your FCPS email for the document so you can edit it.  Thanks!
