From the 21st and 22nd, the 26th Annual LHS Art Show was held in the auxiliary gym to showcase student art. Hundreds of pieces were on display, including photography, studio art, sculpture, graphic design, and other mediums.

Senior April Hopkins is an AP Studio Art and Ceramics student and current member of the National Art Honor Society.

“I had about nine or ten pieces on display,” Hopkins said. “I like looking at the other 2-D art, because that’s mostly what I do, and I can see which techniques and styles they used.”

On the first night of the show, the Art Honor Society held its induction ceremony. New members include Sarah Brady, Danielle Brough, Valerie Coblentz, Cynthia Contreras, Melissa Darling, Gina DeFrancisci, Allison Eckloff, Morgan Eisenhauer, Michelle Galdamez, Kaila Gordon, Julie Heckert, Jeweliana Hendrickson, Sophie Kirchner, Brighid Hobson, Juliet Jackman, Hannah Laughter, Taylor Lowe, and Sophia Lertora.

Additional inductees include Susanna Lertora, Alyssa Lewis, Isabella Madrid, Michaela Metcalf, Cori Nichols, Jada Oliveras, Tanner Ridgely, Rebecca Riddle, Briana Pettaway, Brianna Scott, Aprilynn Slifker, Lauren Thompson, Kennedy Todd, Vanessa Vo, and Marla Wills.
