LHSsees2020: Nick Dellavelle will bat at Davis and Elkins College
Nick Dellavelle has his bat, mitt, and shoes ready for Davis and Elkins College where he will play for their Senators baseball team.
Dellavelle is in love with the campus. “It’s a very small town and feels just like home. Everyone seems to know everyone.”
He is not satisfied with just being involved in one activity. He wants to join FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), and Younglife. He is sure to be busy, but is excited to be involved in multiple activities.
Dellavelle hasn’t decided what he wants to major in, but he is leaning towards criminal justice.
Nick is excited to be at college with some of his best friends. “I got to grow up with some of the kids that I’m going to college with and it’s pretty cool. I also get to room with one of my friends, too.”
He knew that he wanted to go to Davis and Elkins after he visited with the coaches and saw the campus. “The coach is really nice, and he is going to be someone who I look forward to learning from.”
