Justin Knotts scored a third place title and a prom date at Mr. Linganore 2016.

Knotts dressed as Microsoft creator, Bill Gates, as his model trendsetter for the competition. He equipped himself with glasses, a brief case, and a tweed blazer.  He made it rain play money, and that got the crowd scrambling for some of the green.

“I chose Bill Gates because of his success earned through hard work and dedication,” explained Knotts.

For his talent, Justin serenaded his girlfriend and escort, Rayann Eaves, who Knotts chose Eaves “not only because she’s my girlfriend, but also because she is beautiful, and I knew we would have a lot of fun together.”

Rayann knew she would have to commit hours to learning the dances, memorizing the talent, and preparing the costumes. What she didn’t expect was a promposal from Knotts in front of the Mr. Linganore crowd.

“I’d have to say asking Rayann to prom onstage was my best memory of the competition,” said Knotts.

Winning over the hearts of the crowd, Knotts was announced a finalist in the competition. He placed second runner up.

“Since I had never done anything like Mr. Linganore, I was very nervous at first, but it was worth it,” Knotts said. “I’d tell the seniors next year that if they get the opportunity to do Mr. Linganore they shouldn’t turn it down!”
