Michael Scott and Chris Brown have something in common: they both know how to inspire laughter.

Chris Brown made his first appearance in Mr. LHS 2016 as David Bowie’s most recognizable alter ego: Ziggy Stardust.

He couldn’t be missed as he walked onstage in his metallic silver and blue costume and his guitar. Adding a heroic twist to Stardust’s character, he stopped a “bad guy” (played by Greg Thompson, Brown’s manager) by using his guitar.

Brown was escorted by fellow senior, Olivia DuBro, who was his “designated chest painter” when he was a member of the tribe during the fall football season.

“Olivia, Emily Rieland, and Greg Thompson all helped me in the most awesome ways,” said Brown.

Perhaps Brown’s highlight moment was his talent skit, the wedding scene from the sitcom The Office.

Chris played boss, Michael Scott. Other characters from the show danced humorously down the wedding aisle to the song Forever by Chris Brown, as they do in the famous episode.

Brown also played a basketball player in Thomas Lang’s talent act.

“It was all very exciting. I enjoyed trying to entertain the crowd,” said Brown. “In the end, it was a very fun and worthwhile experience.”
