Joyeux Noël!

On December 20th, the French Honor Society hosted a holiday party after school for all members.

Students brought food, including classic French Christmas foods such madeleines, a shell-shaped tiny French cake. Attendees listened to classic Christmas songs in French.

FHS members were also asked to bring empty K-cups for the party’s craft activity. The group made Christmas tree ornaments using the empty K-cups, paint, and pipe cleaners. Some students chose to create French-inspired ornaments.

Class of 2018 member Sarah Hall said, “It was a lot of fun to get together and celebrate Christmas by eating French foods, and the craft was really cool, too.”

Madame Blonder, adviser of the honor society, along with FHS officers Valerie Coblentz, Emily Barbagallo, Maddie Frick, Sofia Schuller, and Miranda Timberlake organized and hosted the event.
