Attention dancers, singers, and actors:  The Drama department will be holding auditions for the spring musical “The Sound of Music” on January 19^th, 20^th and 21st.  Sign up and audition information is posted outside of the drama room D101.  Please see Mr. Lazarus or Mr. Norko with questions.

 Attention sophomores and juniors:  If you are interested in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM), you are invited to apply for a summer internship at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab.  You would work on a technical STEM project for 6-8 weeks with a mentor’s assistance.  This is a very unique opportunity to expand your technical skills.  For information about this program, stop by room C103 and talk to Ms. Radil-Harris or Mr. Brown this week.

GSA is collecting funds during the month of January for the Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is a crisis intervention and suicide prevention hotline for LGBTQ youth. Our goal is to raise $350.  Attention Unified Bocce Ball players:  We will meet after school today in the gym lobby for a 2:30 pm bus departure for our match against Urbana.  The bus will return to LHS by 5:00 pm.  Please wear athletic shoes and black pants and bring a snack.  Uniform shirts will be handed out before the match.  If you are planning on leaving the match with your parents, you must have a signed note.
