Any high school woman interested in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) career is encouraged to join WISE (Women In Science and Engineering).  The first meeting will be this Wednesday, September 14th, from 7:00-8:15 pm at the Earth Space Science Laboratory in Frederick.

All German Honor Society students should see Ms. Freimuth concerning a field trip on Tuesday, October 18th.

Sophomores this one is for you:   Jostens will be here today and tomorrow, during all lunch shifts to collect your class ring order forms.  Please remember to bring in your form, along with your $50.00 deposit.  Go to www.jostens.com for more information, or contact Mrs. Shapiro in the front office.

Seniors, your turn:  If you didn’t have your senior portrait taken over the summer, today is the last day for make-up pictures from Victor O’Neill Studios.  They will take place after school from 2:30-8:30 pm.

Seniors, one more for you:  If you have any questions on using Naviance for your college applications, please sign-up in Student Services to come during PREP on a Tuesday or Thursday this month.  You will be requested for the date you sign-up.

Now for sports news for today…

The Lancer golf team won their multi-team match yesterday. Drew Twillman led the team shooting even par and Ryan McFadden shot a 1 over 37. They have an amazing 6-0-1 record.

Today the field hockey team is traveling to South Carroll High School for their game.

And the volleyball team is here at home to take on Winters Mill.

Unified tennis practice is today from 2:45-3:30 pm.  Please meet at the tennis courts.
