Can you spell Hilarious? H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S annual Spelling Bee is today in the media center at 2:30 pm. Hope to you see you there!

Members of the Class of 2018 club WILL NOT meet during the designated club time today. Instead, please plan on attending a meeting Wednesday after school in room C207. The meeting will replace the club day meeting and should last about 20 minutes. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Scuffins.

The Science National Honor Society WILL NOT meet during club day.

Attention students taking the AP European History Exam: Review sessions are Wednesday and Friday mornings from 6:30 am until 7:15am, with donuts on Fridays!

The Women in Science and Engineering meets tonight, March 9th, at the FCPS Earth and Space Science Laboratory from 7:00 am to 8:15 pm. This group is open to all females in grades 9-12, who are interested in learning about science and engineering careers.

The girls and boys Varsity tennis team will hold its Quartermania Fundraiser in the school cafeteria on Friday, March 11th. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the game start at 7:00 pm. Over 70-80 prizes will be given away with 40 paid admissions. If you are interested in registering, please contact Mrs. Becker in Student Services.

Attention percussion ensemble students: After school practice for this Thursday has been cancelled due to the many students participating in the County Solo and Ensemble Festival. We will resume rehearsals next week.

Congratulations to the Linganore Mock Trial Team for their win at the County Championships. Be sure to congratulate all student attorneys and witnesses. The team now moves on to the Circuit Championships at the Montgomery County Courthouse next Tuesday, March 15th at 6:00 pm. Great job everyone!

Attention all of next year’s Dual Enrollment Applicants: Friday, March 18th, is the deadline for turning in your High School Based Dual Enrollment Permission to Test Form. This form can be found online on the LHS website under the “Dual Enrollment” quick link. Forms can be turned into the drop box outside of Ms. Becker’s office. If you meet one of the exemption qualifiers, please remember to attach that proof to your form before submission.
