Attention next year’s Dual Enrollment applicants: Friday, March 18th, is the deadline for turning in your High School Based Dual Enrollment Permission to Test form. This form can be found online on the LHS website under the “Dual Enrollment” quick link. Forms can be turned into the drop box outside of Ms. Becker’s office. If you meet one of the exemption qualifiers, please remember to attach that proof to your form before submission.

The girls’ and boys’ Varsity tennis team will hold its Quartermania fundraiser in the school cafeteria today. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the game starts at 7:00 pm. If you are interested in registering, please contact Mrs. Becker in Student Services.

Good luck to Nicole Muller as she heads to the ISHS horse show this weekend. Nicole will compete in Hunter Equitation on the flat and over fences against riders from high schools across Maryland.

The Class of 2019 is hosting a fundraiser at the Frederick California Tortilla on Friday, March 18th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Just say “Linganore” when you place your order, to assure that the money goes to our school!

Congratulations to Nick Belski, Michael Fraumeni, Allie Hudson and Sara Perez who each earned a “Superior” rating at the FCPS Solo Festival. They’re headed to States!

This week’s Fun Fact Friday: Potatoes were the first food grown in outer space.
