If you are at least 16 years old with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, this announcement is for you. The United States Department of Energy is offering talented high school students eight week summer internships in a variety of fields such as engineering, information technology, physics, economics, business administration and many others. This is an excellent opportunity. If you are interested in applying, see Mr. Brown or Ms. Radil-Harris in room C103 for more information. The application deadline is fast approaching.

Any juniors who are interested in helping with prom decorations can work today and tomorrow in Student Services from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. See Ms. Larson or Mrs. Hirschy, if you have questions.

The 2016 LHS Latin club t-shirt is here designed by sophomore Kyla Dungan. With this year’s sales, the Latin club hopes to send Hugh Norko and Gia Haemmerle to the National Junior Classical League convention in July. Shirts are $20 each. If you would like to purchase one, you can stop by room C220. Thank you!

Varsity baseball will travel to Middletown today for a 4:30 pm game.

Congratulations to the Varsity boys’ tennis team for beating Brunswick by the match score of 5-0.

The Varsity girls’ team lost by the match score of 4-1. The team will travel to Middletown for today’s away match.

Congratulations to JV baseball, JV and Varsity lacrosse and JV softball for winning their games.
