#1: AP exam deadline is this Friday.

Advanced Placement exams will be given during the first two weeks in May.

All students taking AP exams must register by this Friday, March 20. Exam information and registration materials are available for pick-up from Mrs. Smith in the Assistant Principals office or at education.fcps.org/lhs/APTesting

#2: Saint Patrick’s Day

#4: National Honor Society Talent Show is this Saturday

The Annual Linganore High School Talent Show will be held this Saturday, March 21, at 6 pm in the LHS auditorium. Come out to enjoy a night of awesome entertainment by some incredibly talented Lancers!

Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for students. There will also be a raffle with some great prizes.

#5: Linganore student produces award-winning artwork

Congratulations to Senior Anna Spitale for her award-winning artwork which will be featured on the cover of the program for the FCPS Secondary Science & Engineering Fair being held on Saturday, March 21, at Walkersville High School. The fair is open to the public from 3 -4 pm.
Congratulations, also, to Sophomore Tyler Hanes and Senior Joseph Morris, whose works of art received honorable mentions.

#6: French award winner

Congratulations to Emily Jones who was one of the winners of this year’s French Essay Contest sponsored by the Allience Francaise de Frederick. Félicitations Emily!

#7: Library March Madness

The library’s March Madness is already underway!  The first round is complete, but it’s not too late to join! Visit the library or go online to the LHS website under Media Center. The winning book will be announced on April 7th.

#8: Science and Engineering Fair

On Saturday March 21, FCPS will be hosting the Science and Engineering Fair. The Elementary fair will be at Walkersville High from 9:30 to 12:30 PM, and the Secondary level fair will be from 3-4 PM at Walkersville Middle. Come out and see our future engineers!
