Welcome Class of 2019!

Lancer Media is excited for you to join the ranks of outstanding students at Linganore, but first there are some insider hints you need to know.  This is your Lancer Media Guide to what you can expect and some tips to help make the best of your high school experience.

You can’t expect to make your mark on the school if you don’t know your way around it.  Here’s a map of Linganore’s first floor and all the important places you’ll find there.  Our beautiful school is huge, so we’ve also included a map of Linganore’s second floor and how to find your way around it.

Entering high school means meeting countless new people, so we’d like to introduce you to some of the adult names and faces you should know. The staff members listed below often teach or interact with 9th grade students:

LHS has a tradition of excellence in both academics and athletics.  We have all the tips and information you’ll need if you are interested in trying out for a sport.

Linganore also offers a variety of fun clubs and extracurriculars that strive to accommodate the interests of any student.

As a Lancer, there are some words you will need to become familiar with in order to understand and speak the Linganore lingo, so Lancer Media has provided you with a Lance-tionary to study up on your LHS vocabulary.
