Ceresville Mansion was filled with hungry lacrosse players Thursday May 28th for their end of season banquet. The banquet was for both JV and Varsity Lacrosse players, all of the coaches, and family and friends.
The JV boys were excited to celebrate their second undefeated season.
“I really enjoyed going 12-0 this season with all my great teammates and coaches,” says freshman Jacob Garwood.
The varsity boys were also excited to celebrate their 9-4 season.
Varsity lost a tough game against Howard in their second round playoff game. Howard went on to win the 3A/4A state championship.
“It was a great season. I’m so proud of all the boys,” says defensive coach Dave Stieren.
Twenty-eight of the thirty-five players on varsity are honor roll students, including 1st Team All County, captain, and lead scorer, Daniel Ross and 1st team All Conference Wade Stieren.
At the banquet, JV players received t-shirts, and the seniors received a framed picture collage and an embroidered duffel bag.
