The LHS Latin club is helping Frederick’s Advocates for Homeless Families during the month of September. Third period classes are invited to collect needed items from September 15^th through September 25^th.  The class with the most donations will win a donut party, compliments of Latin club! Your teacher has a list of the items we are collecting.

Model UN ambassadors:  Remember that there is a meeting today in room C208 to prepare for orientation on Saturday.  You must confirm your participation with Mr. Roberts by 3:00 pm today if you want to be an ambassador this year.

Juniors and Seniors:  There are admissions representatives from many colleges visiting Linganore in the upcoming weeks.  To see who is visiting, go to  NAVIANCE for the entire list.  If you have questions, see  MS. RILEY in Student Services.

Congratulations to the LHS Golf team: Drew Twillman, Brent Wilkerson, Cam Smith, Ryan McFadden, and Harry Rasmussen all qualified for the Maryland State Golf Tournament yesterday. The team score was one of the best in school history.

Congratulations to the girls varsity field hockey team on their victory yesterday over South Carroll  2-0.

Club corrections:  The Science National Honor Society Club is meeting 2^nd period (not 3^rd).  The Latin Club is meeting 3^rd period (not 2^nd).
