Underclassmen can pick up their pre-ordered yearbooks during all lunch shifts Friday May 22nd. Bring your receipt just in case. If you’re absent that day see Mrs. Bozzonetti in room A206 after the 22nd either before or after school only to pick up your pre-ordered book!

If you would like to purchase a yearbook please see Mrs. Bozzonetti in A206 by this Friday. The price is $70.00 cash only.

As for the ongoing can-struction competition, Mr. Lloyd’s class is currently in the lead with a collection rate of 11 cans per student. Ms. Freimuth’s class is in second place with a rate of 7 cans per student. And Mr. Lastova’s class is in third place with a rate of 6 cans per student. The competition will continue until Friday, with a donut party next Tuesday! Your 1st period class still has a shot at winning. And remember, each dollar will be counted as two cans in the competition!

As of yesterday afternoon, the Class of 2016 collected $387 and 516 items of packaged goods for a total of 1,291 items! The goal is at least 2,000 cans.

Registration for the 1st Annual LHS Quidditch Tournament is closed.  Come out tomorrow, Thursday, May 21 at 2:30 by the softball field to watch 7 teams compete for the Golden Snitch.

The first fall marching band rehearsal for musicians and color guard will be held on Thursday, May 21 from 5:30-8:00 pm. Senior band members should return any outstanding uniforms, school instruments, and method books as soon as possible.

The James Miltenberger Jazz Group will be performing at Linganore High School today at 7:30 pm.

Seniors! If you have not yet signed up for this year’s safe and sane, it’s not too late! Forms are available in the front office, and a  parent signature is required. Please get them in as soon as you can.

Varsity Softball played at NHS last night and lost a tough game. Congratulations for making it to State semifinals.
