Students between the ages of 15 and 18 looking for a summer job opportunity, applications are now being accepted at Monocacy National Battlefield. For more information or to pick up an application, See Ms. Radil-Harris or Mr. Brown in C103.

All students who have registered for AP exams should review the exam roster posted on Main Street today to check for accuracy. Any errors should be reported to Ms. Smith in the AP office no later than tomorrow.

There will be two AP pre-administration sessions held in the cafeteria on April 20 and April 21 from 2:30-3:15.  Students whose last name begins with A-K should attend on April 20 and students whose last name begins with L-Z should attend on April 21.  All students taking an AP exam must attend one of the two sessions.

If you are a senior band member, applications for the 2015 Band Booster Scholarship are available from Mr. Lloyd in the band room. The deadline for completion of the application is April 9th, and the winner will be announced at the band banquet on May 1st.  See Mr. Lloyd for more information.

Linganore’s Key Club will be co-hosting an all you can eat Pancake Breakfast, to benefit local community projects.The breakfast will be held this Saturday, from 6 am to Noon, at Calvary United Methodist Church, in Mt. Airy. The admission price is 8 dollars for adults, 4 dollars for children ages 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Come out and support our fantastic Key Club!

The boy’s Varsity Lacrosse team beat the North Hagerstown Hubs 17 to 2 in the Lancer’s home opener. Meanwhile at North Hagerstown, your girl’s Varsity Lacrosse team fought hard and had a tough game which they lost 5 to 10 against the home-field Hubs. However, both girl’s and boy’s JV lacrosse teams defeated North Hagerstown last night, great job lancers!

Yesterday, the JV lancer Softball and Baseball teams took on Thomas Johnson, the girls won 22 to 2 and the boys won 13 to 3.

The Varsity Lancer Baseball and Softball teams take on cross town rival, Oakdale, today here at home.

The Varsity Tennis team will play Oakdale High School at home today.  All players should be on the courts by 2:45 p.m.  Good Luck!
