Mr. Hines will be offering both before and after-school review sessions for AP US on Tuesdays at either 6:30 in the morning or 2:30 in the afternoon.  Students who want to participate should sign-up outside of Mr. Hines’ room A221.  Sessions will consist of 1 period review per session leading up to the AP test on May 8th.  Please see Mr. Hines with any questions or concerns.

Students between the ages of 15 and 18 looking for a summer job opportunity, applications are now being accepted at Monocacy National Battlefield. For more information or to pick up an application, See Ms. Radil-Harris or Mr. Brown in C103.

Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded that their forms and money for the April 22nd field trip are due to Mr. Sunkel in Room A139.

Friday, April 17th is the National Day of Silence. Those participating do not speak for the whole day in order to end the silence and bullying that LGBTQ teens face. If you would like to participate, please fill out a permission slip (located by room B123) and get it signed by all of your teachers, then return it to Mrs. Dillon by April 10th.

This years Junior-Senior Prom will be held Saturday, May 2nd from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at the FSK Holiday Inn. This year’s theme is “A Masquerade Ball.” Tickets will be sold during all lunch shifts from Monday, April 13th, through Friday, April 17th. Tickets are $35 each. Students attending the prom must attend school all day May 1st. Please consider using Men’s Warehouse for all of your tuxedo and suit needs. The Mount Airy Jersey Mikes will be holding a fundraiser tomorrow, Thursday, April 9th to support “Lancers Make it Happen.” This group focuses on helping poor and underprivileged students in LHS’s feeder elementary schools. 15% of all proceeds will be donated to the cause. Come out and show your support!

The Varsity Tennis team will host South Carroll today.  All players should be on the courts by 2:45 p.m.  Good Luck!

The JV and Varsity Lacrosse teams both won at home yesterday against Middletown. The JV team came away with an impressive 17-1 win, and the Varsity won 14-9. Great Job!

The JV softball team defeated Tuscarora yesterday 7-1. Great work ladies!

Both Girls Lacrosse teams took on Middletown yesterday. The JV girls lost 16-4 and Varsity lost 20-1. Better luck next time girls.
