Students between the ages of 15 and 18 looking for a summer job opportunity, applications are now being accepted at Monocacy National Battlefield. For more information or to pick up an application, See Ms. Radil-Harris or Mr. Brown in C103.

Linganore is looking for students interested in leadership. Our student government is seeking candidates for office in the SGA and for your Class Councils.  Candidate packets are available outside room C103.  See Mr. Brown or any current officer with questions.  Candidate packets are due tomorrow, March 31st so get yours today!

If you are taking the AP Macro exam this May, Mr Beaver will be holding the first review session today after school from 2:30 -3 pm in his room.

Mr. Hines will be offering both before and after-school review sessions for AP US on Tuesdays at either 6:30 in the morning or 2:30 in the afternoon.  Students who want to participate should sign-up outside of Mr. Hines’ room A221.  Sessions will consist 1 period review per session leading up to the AP test on May 8th.  For questions or concerns, please see Mr. Hines.

Congratulations to Magen Straight of the LHS Equestrian Club. Magen finished up strong in the final ISHS horse show of the season. She put in three competitive rides winning third places in her Hunter Equitation Under Saddle classes and a second place in over fences! Way to go Magen!

Yesterday afternoon our Girls varsity softball team fought a hard game against Urbana but fell short with a score of 6 to 3.  Better luck next time ladies. Tonight JV softball is set to play Urbana at home and the game begins at 4:30.

Boys varsity baseball took on the Hawks last night, unfortunately they lost 12 to 2. Better luck next time lancers.

Today after school at home, JV baseball takes on Urbana at 4:30pm. Come out to support the team and lead them to victory!

Boys JV lacrosse plays St Johns tonight at their field. Boys Varsity lacrosse plays the Frederick Cadets at Frederick. JV starts at 3:45 and Varsity starts at 6. Make sure to come support your fellow lancers.
